Can I book an event at the location of my choice?

Is it possible to organize outdoor events?

Is there a serving and cleanup team after the event?
- Bùi Dish does not have a serving and cleanup team; we only have an assistant.

Do you provide services for special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.?

- The current scale for a home event is 15 people.
- If you and your group don't mind sitting a little closer, we can accommodate a maximum of 20 people.

Do you offer discounts for large groups?
- We do not offer discounts for large groups.
- However, we provide free Vietnamese translation services for the group's guide.
Is it possible to reserve in advance or must you book directly before arriving to secure a seat?
- We accept reservations in all forms, but you must follow the booking process at least 48 hours in advance and make a 100% advance payment.
- This allows us to prepare the meal as thoroughly as possible.
- Traditional cuisine, with its complex and delicate preparation, requires a lot of time to prepare.
2.PRIVATE DINING ROOM
- We have a private dining room with a maximum capacity of 6-8 guests.
- The private dining room is located within the apartment and is arranged as a separate space.
- To ensure availability of the private dining room, please contact and confirm before making an online payment.
3.LARGE GROUPS / CAPACITY
- We recommend making reservations in advance for large groups.
- Due to limited space, groups of 15-20 people will be required to rent the entire dining area.
- We do not have a separate area for large groups.

6.FOOD ALLERGIES
- We will try to accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies if notified in advance. Please inform us of any special requirements so our kitchen can prepare accordingly.
- However, we cannot provide Gluten/Lactose-free menus for customers with Gluten/Lactose allergies.
- We also want to note that each meal at Bùi Dish does not follow a fixed menu but is selected seasonally. This allows us to use the freshest ingredients and seasonal specialties to create special dishes and rich flavors.
7.COOKING CLASS BOOKING METHODS
How can I book a cooking class at Bùi Dish?

What about transportation within Hanoi?
- We use technology-driven car services like Taxi Vin, Taxi Mai Linh, and Grab Taxi to transport guests within Hanoi. This ensures safety and convenience for our customers.
- If you prefer to travel by motorbike, we can assist with booking technology-driven motorbike services. Please contact us in advance for assistance.
- Please note that we do not provide motorbike guide and interpretation services in English.
8.PRIVATE COOKING CLASSES
If I want to take a cooking class, can I request private cooking sessions?
We welcome your request to participate in private cooking classes. Please send your request at least 48 hours before the desired date. We will try to arrange a suitable schedule and meet your preferences as much as possible.
9.COOKING CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
Do you offer private cooking classes for children?
Currently, we do not provide private cooking classes for young children. However, children aged 12 to 18, supervised by a family member, can participate with a 50% discount on tuition.
10. CHILDREN
Do Home Dining and Cooking Classes have separate menus for children?
- Cooking Class: There are no separate menus for children. We design a shared course for all ages, ensuring it's an excellent experience.

Will children be served their own meals?
- Sorry, we do not have separate menus for children, and all children will be required to choose from the adult menu. Therefore, consider children under 12 years old when coming to Bùi Dish, due to the length of the meal.

Do children need to be supervised during the service?
We want to focus on making your meal perfect and enjoyable, which is great for children to have more laughter and joy. However, they must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or relative throughout the meal.

Is there parking available near Home Dining and Cooking Class?
As it's a home dining service, you can be completely assured about parking. It's entirely free.
13. FOOD ALLERGIES
Can I notify the Chef about my food allergies in advance?
Yes, we encourage you to provide detailed information about your food allergies at least 48 hours before your visit. We will adjust the menu to accommodate your health needs.
If I have allergies to certain types of food, can the Chef modify the menu to suit my health condition?
We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies. However, we cannot provide menus that are gluten-free or lactose-free.
14. ATTIRE
Are there any dress code requirements for Home Dining and Cooking Class?
- We do not have elaborate dress code requirements for Home Dining and Cooking Class. You can dress comfortably as if you were at home enjoying a family meal.
- However, we always value respect and elegance, so choose appropriate attire to convey your care and consideration for the meal and everyone's experience.
15. ALCOHOL / CORKAGE FEE
How does Home Dining provide alcohol, and what is the corkage fee?
- Providing and using alcohol: We provide alcohol with an appropriate alcohol content in accordance with legal regulations. Guests are encouraged to limit excessive consumption and enjoy alcohol tastefully to enhance the flavor of the food and create a pleasant atmosphere.
- Bringing personal alcohol: Guests can bring their own personal alcohol as long as it is not on the list of alcohol we provide. In this case, we will charge a corkage fee, with fees ranging from:
- Below 12 degrees: $20 per bottle
- 12 degrees and above: $35 per bottle

16. HOLIDAYS
Does Home Dining have a special menu for holidays?

Does the Cooking Class have a special menu for holidays?
We publicly announce special menus on our website buidish.com. You can refer to the menu online and choose the dish you want to learn. We ensure that the dishes are prepared daily with expertise and the essence of traditional flavors. We operate like a premium professional chef.
Is Home Dining closed on holidays?
Most premium restaurants in Hanoi will be closed on New Year's Day, Lunar New Year, International Labor Day (May 1st), and Reunification Day (April 30th). However, we remain open to welcome you. Reservation prices are posted on the website, so please check before booking.

Please note that there may be an additional fee depending on your request and the meeting time. Can I meet Mr. Hùng at any time?
Mr. Hùng has a fixed teaching schedule at the university. However, he will try to arrange time to meet with customers as frequently as possible. We are flexible and willing to organize events at any location requested by customers, both within and outside the territory of Vietnam. We will provide a unique multi-national cultural exchange experience to create memorable memories for customers. However, all costs related to event organization will be the responsibility of the customer. Let us know your requirements, and we will advise and arrange a great event according to your wishes.
If I want to book on a special day, like a birthday or anniversary, can I request special decorations for my party?
Yes, but they will be very subtle and elegant. We reject noisy parties. Please let us know your preferences and decoration style in advance. Anything beyond our standard dining services will incur additional costs, depending on the scale you desire.
Do you provide photography and videography services during the event?
We do not provide photography and videography services directly at Bùi Dish. However, we can assist you in finding quality photography and videography services in Hanoi. We will advise and suggest reputable partners for you to capture memorable moments at your event. The cost of this service will be the responsibility of the customer. Can I purchase spices, ingredients, or cooking tools from Home Chef?
Yes, you can order spices, ingredients, and cooking tools from Home Chef. In cases where we do not have the items, we will provide you with a list of the best places to buy quality products in Hanoi that suit your cooking needs. Can I book a service that includes both Home Dining and Cooking Class?
Yes, you can book a service that includes both Home Dining and Cooking Class. However, to ensure convenience and proper scheduling, we recommend conducting these services in a sequential order. You can decide which service to use first and second to fully enjoy our culinary experience. What types of dishes does Bùi Dish serve (regular or vegetarian)?
In Phase 1 (2023 - 2025), we focus on serving traditional cuisine, including regular dishes. Bùi Dish is proud of its ability to cook many delicious dishes. However, we are planning to expand our offerings to include vegetarian options in Phase 2. We always listen to customer feedback and desires, and we will strive to meet all your culinary needs.
19. CANCELING A RESERVATION OR CLASS
Can we cancel a reservation or class?
You can modify or change your Dining Reservation/Cooking Class anytime before your appointment, 48 hours for Dining Reservations and 24 hours for Cooking Classes. We operate on a system that resets daily at 12:00 midnight based on Vietnam Standard Time (GMT+7), and you will be refunded 100% of the prepaid amount.
What are the reasons for canceling a reservation or class if it's close to the time of the meal?
In the event of extenuating circumstances such as flight cancellations, health issues, or legitimate reasons verified by documentation, we accept cancellations within 24 hours, and you will be refunded 100% of the prepaid amount.
Is there a fee for reducing the number of guests attending?
The reduction fee will be deducted from the amount you have prepaid. However, you must notify us at least 24 hours before the meal begins. To secure your reservation, our customer care staff will contact you directly to arrange the refund deposit method. Please read our refund policy carefully for cancellations or reductions.
Why does Bùi Dish refuse refunds?
- In all cases where you do not provide advance notice of 48 hours for Dining Reservations, due to subjective reasons. We are not responsible for the Dining Reservation/Cooking Class fees you have paid in advance.
- You can modify or change your Dining Reservation/Cooking Class anytime before your appointment, 48 hours before the meal starts. We operate on a system that resets daily at 12:00 midnight based on Vietnam Standard Time (GMT+7).
The cancellation or reduction fee will be deducted from the deposit amount to secure your reservation. Our customer care staff will contact you directly to arrange the deposit method. Please read our refund policy carefully for cancellations or reductions.

20. PAYMENT METHODS
What payment methods does Home Dining and Cooking Class accept?
We accept payments through various methods: PayPal, international debit/credit cards, direct bank transfers, and, in some special cases, cash. For example, if you visit Bùi Dish and want to make additional Dining Reservations/Cooking Classes or purchase other services such as gift items.
Does Bùi Dish accept various types of credit cards?
We accept payment via the following cards: [List of Accepted Cards]. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Please note that we can only accept cash payments in VND (Vietnamese Dong). Sorry, we do not accept any checks.
